So here’s a blast from the past.
They say “Write what you know” and the Agents of Kalanon books are essentially murder mysteries so naturally I had to get murdered, right? Fortunately, the world of television came to my rescue so I didn’t have to do it for real! This picture is a scene from the TV series Spartacus and the hand you see about to grab my face is Spartacus himself. A moment later, he has cut my throat and thrown me down the stairs. I did all my own stunts that day and none of that fine stair-tumbling made it onscreen. Never say I haven’t suffered for my art!
